The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies is reporting that a newly installed seismometer at the Cliffs of Moher picked up the earthquake activity around ten minutes after the quake struck last night.
It says the new seismometer at the Cliffs is so sensitive it also picked up a small tremor in north Donegal on Tuesday, with a magnitude of 1-point-1.
