Jack remains the most popular name for baby boys in Clare.
CSO Figures published today, show there’s been a change in the girls category, with Fiadh the most common name in the banner in 2022, replacing Caoimhe and Sophie.
Nationally, Jack and Éala were the most popular boys and girls names last year, with the latter moving from 177th place in the rankings in 2021 to 91st last year.
