The 13th century structure has undergone a 6 million euro facelift  and now features state of the art interactive exhibitions designed by the company behind the Titanic Experience in Belfast

Built by Kilmihil based Clare construction firm L&M Keating – the project is being supported by Failte Ireland and the Department of Tourism to the tune of 4.7 million with the remainder of the funding coming from Shannon Development.

CEO Vincent Cunnane believes this attraction augments others in the region including Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.
