An Irish man has died in hospital in Melbourne, in Australia this morning after sustaining head injuries last weekend.

30 year old Eoin Murray from Leixlip in Co Kildare was found injured on the street in the city at around 6am last Saturday and taken to hospital. He’d been in a critical condition since then. It’s not clear how Mr Murray received his injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
