The Managing Director of Dromoland Castle believes the Women’s Irish Golf Tournament will provide a significant boost for the tourism industry and local businesses, not just in Clare, but further afield.

Up to 15,000 people are expected to descend on Newmarket on Fergus each day for the professional golfing event, which takes place between September 22nd and 25th this year.

Mark Nolan says he hopes they’ll be involved in the event, which is supported by the Government and Clare County Council, for a number of years.

The Dromoland Castle MD is confident that there will be a positive spin off for all those involved in the tourism sector.
