Irish Water Taking Steps To Address Supply Issues In North Clare Following Hot Weather

Irish Water says steps are being taken to bolster supply in parts of North Clare after the hot weather.

Carron is one of 12 areas across the country that are being monitored closely, after record temperatures put pressure on infrastructure.

The utility says that since the middle of last week it has seen a noticeable increase in demand, particularly in seaside resorts and agricultural areas, with demand likely to remain high through July and August.
