Irish Water Says Significant Challenges Remain In North And East Clare

Irish Water says it’s still facing a significant challenge in meeting demand in parts of East and North Clare.

Night-time restrictions remain in the Tulla, Ennistymon and Ballyvaughan areas as the dry spell continues to impact on reservoir levels.

Water is being tankered directly to the borehole serving the Broadford scheme, while temporary water tankers remain in the affected areas in North Clare.

Irish Water says supply has been restored to all areas but is warning it may be intermittent at times due to network management measures.
