Irish Water Says New Liscannor Wastewater Treatment Plant To Be Operational In 18 Months

Irish Water says a new wastewater treatment plant in Liscannor will be operational in 18 months’ time.

The utility has begun construction on the works, to prevent the discharge of thousands of litres of raw sewage into the area’s environment each day.

Construction on a similar plant in Kilfenora and a sewerage scheme in Kilrush is to get underway later this month.
