Irish Men Earn 20% More Than Women

Irish men earn an average of 12 and a half thousand euro more than women.

A study by Morgan McKinley reveals that this 20 per cent gap can actually widen to 28 per cent when people have more than 15 years experience.

The recruitment company says although women have been less inclined to seek increases and employers have been slow to grant them – this is changing.

Chief Operations Officer Karen O'Flaherty, says we need to tackle the problem as it could affect foreign investment.
