The Irish Athletic Boxing Association says it is very disappointed that Michael O'Reilly may have taken a supplement without consulting their High Performance Support Team.

The 23-year-old Irish boxer has left the Olympic Village after apologising to his team-mates, supporters and sports organisations – and it has been confirmed that he will not compete for Team Ireland at the Olympic Games in Rio.
The Olympic Council of Ireland confirmed last night that the boxer is no longer contesting the provisional suspension imposed on him for failing a doping test.
