Investigations continuing into the death of an Ennisman at the Midlands Prison on Tuesday.

41 year-old Michael Maughan of Stone Court, Ennis was sentenced to life in prison in October for the murder of a Polish man at Sandfield News in Ennis in July, 2013.
He was found dead in his cell at the Portlaoise prison shortly after 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening.
The Inspector of Prisons, the Prison Service and Gardaí have launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Foul play is not suspected.
