The Invitation to Jeremy Clarkson to tour the Wild Atlantic Way in Clare remains in the works despite recent controversies.
Fianna Fáil Cllr Alan O'Callaghan says while he can't condone the reported actions of the Top Gear host he expects Mr Clarkson will continue to work in motoring broadcasting.

Efforts have been underway for some time to invite the controversial TV host who was sacked by the BBC yesterday to Clare in the hopes he would feature the county on international TV.
And Cllr O'Callaghan says those efforts are ongoing.
