Investigations are underway after a man – in his 50's – was found dead on a road in county Louth in the early hours of this morning.

It's believed the deceased, who'd been working as a taxi driver, may have suffered a number of stab wounds.
He was found on the road at Kilcurry in Dundalk at around 3 am.
The area has been sealed off for a full technical examination and a post mortem examination will be carried out.
