A Garda investigation is continuing into a major brawl at a fight night in Shannon, which resulted in one person being hospitalised.
Shannon Kickboxing Club had been hosting the event for the 12th time at Treacy’s Oakwood Hotel in the town on Saturday night, when the incident broke out.
Gardaí from Ennis and Shannon were called to the scene and diffused the brawl – one person was brought to hospital with mild concussion, while no arrests have been made.
