Clare County Council is investigating a significant dumping incident in North Clare.
A mix of materials including nappies, children’s toys, household furniture and buggies was discovered on the road from Fountain Cross to Corofin Village yesterday,

The council dispatched environmental staff to the scene, where a major clean up took place along the 10km stretch of road.
An investigation has been launched in an attempt to trace the perpetrators.
