Gardaí are investigating a suspected incident of arson in Newmarket on Fergus this past weekend.

The incident occured at around 5:30 on Sunday morning, at a house at Kilnasoolagh Park.
The damage was contained in a front sitting room, though there was smoke damage in the rest of the house.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
