The Health and Safety Authority is investigting the death of an 8-year-old girl on a farm in Co. Mayo.

The child died in a tractor accident on a farm in the Lismolin area.
Gardaí say the incident happened at around 5 o'clock yesterday evening.
A postmortem examination is due to take place later today.
