An investigation has been launched after 10 holiday homes in one West Clare development were targetted by criminals.

Thieves gained entry to the homes at Wellfield, Kilkee between noon and midnight last Thursday.
A number of electrical items were taken, while further property was removed and found outside the properties.
Clare's Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Joe Downey believes there's a possibility that those involved were disturbed – He's appealing to anyone with information on the burglaries to come forward.
