An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a body on the Clare side of the Galway border.

The body of the man, was discovered by two people out walking in Aughinish, Kinvara on Sunday evening.
He's described as being between 50 and 70 years of age, approximately 5'7 in height, with reddish hair, a receding hairline and blue eyes.
