A post mortem will take place later after the body of a man was found in a burnt out car in Co. Louth.

The remains were found at Gyles Quay near Lordship at around 7 o’clock yesterday evening.
An investigation is underway and Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
