International Travel To Return In July As Government Announces Easing Of Restrictions

International travel is set to return on July 19th as the government announced the easing of a range of restrictions.

Indoor dining will return in the first week of July while trial events will bring crowds back to live events next month.

The measures ease on June 2nd when hotels and b&bs can open to guests.

On the 7th outdoor dining can resume – while cinemas and gyms can open, with outdoor gatherings of up to 100 allowed.

On July 5th indoor dining will return, the number of people at weddings will increase to 50 and indoor events of up to 100 people can happen in larger venues.

While Ministers were sounding some notes of caution, the Taoiseach said it’s a positive day for the country.

Trials of live events with spectators will begin in June, ramping up through the summer with the hope of having much higher attendances by August.
