INMO See Room For Improvements At UHL

Nurses representatives have agreed with the Taoiseach’s assessment that there is room for improvements in practices and systems at University Hospital Limerick.

In confirming that his government will fund a new 96-bed unit at University Hospital Limerick, Leo Varadkar told Clare FM that unspecified systems at the hospital must improve first.

More details are expected when the new capital plan is published in the coming weeks, but the INMO’s Mid West Industrial Relations Officer Mary Fogarty says she too feels there is room for improvement.
