The National Maternity Strategy launched in 2016 aimed at offering more choice to mothers but recruitment shortages in midwifery has delayed it's full implementation.
Liam Doran says that he is still waiting to see any plan that would resolve the staffing problem and that plan lacks 450 midwives.
