Irish Water is to begin significant improvement works to replace water mains and address leakage reduction in Ennis town centre next month.

680 metres of cast-iron pipes are to be upgraded, with mains at High Street, Bank Place, O’Connell Square and O’Connell Street to be replaced.

The works are taking place in conjunction with Clare County Council’s public realm enhancement project in the county town and will get underway from the 9th of May.
