Works on a €1.5 million upgrade to the water mains serving the Parteen-Westbury area are to begin later this month.
Homeowners in the area have had to deal with persistent leaks and outages for a number of years, with the old system to be replaced by state-of-the-art iron pipes.
Work is to be carried out at night time on the mains and will begin on January 24th.
