Communications Minister Defends Creed After Broadband Plan Slip Up

The Communications Minister says Michael Creed shouldn’t face repercussions for revealing how much the chosen bidder is investing in the National Broadband Plan.

Richard Bruton initially refused to reveal the amount being put forward by Granahan McCourt, for fear it would jeopardise the contract.

However, the Agriculture Minister told Clare FM that just 220 million euro was being invested by the company.
