A new wastewater treatment plant in Ballyvaughan has been hailed as “a new dawn” for the region.

Uisce Eireann has been granted approval by Clare County Council for the construction of a new wastewater treatment facility on a 1.2 hectare site in the North Clare village subject to twelve conditions.
