An additional three and a half million euro in funding is being to be made available for the road network in Clare this year.
A special meeting of the Ennis Municipal District has heard that the total allocation for Clare County Council will be just over 52 million euro in 2023.
€1.8 million is to be spent on an active travel project on the Tulla Road in Ennis, which will result in the provision of 12 bus stops.
