2.6 Million Euro In Funding Granted For Three Roads Projects Across Clare

Two million euro in Government funding has been granted for improvements at Blake’s Corner in Ennistymon.

Planning is underway for the construction of a new Bridge over the River Inagh, as well as the pedestrianisation of the existing bridge, with the demolition of three existing properties.

It’s one of three key roads projects in Clare to receive funding, with an additional €500,000 granted for a section of dual carriageway to provide better access to Shannon Airport and €85,000 for a pedestrian and cycle crossings at the Clareabbey Roundabout in Ennis.
