Further information is being sought from Clare County Council on plans for a youth service centre in Scarriff.
Árd Aoibhinn Community Initiatives Limited is seeking permission to convert an existing shop there into the centre.

The development at Drewsborough in the East Clare village would also see the building brought up to current fire regulation standards, if given the green light.
Just one submission against the youth centre was submitted, from a resident who owns a nearby property and expressed concern about access to their own.
