Residents in West and North Clare have been urged to attend information evenings about a new tourism project which, it’s hoped, will attract thousands of extra visitors to Clare’s coastal communities.

The draft plan for the Wild Atlantic Way would see tourists follow much of the N67 along the North and West Clare coasts, perhaps as far as Loop Head, before taking the ferry at Killimer.
Failte Ireland is to stage public consultation events in Kilkee, at the Stella Maris Hotel from 4:30 to 7:30 and at Hotel Doolin on Friday from 11 o’clock until 2 o’clock.
