Increased Funding For Clare’s Domestic Violence Services Was Restricted By Pandemic Demands

Last year, Clare received €879,096 in funding for the provision of refuge for victims of domestic violence.

This marks an increase of nearly €130,000 in supports made available in comparison to 2020.

However, Dr. Siobhán O’Connor from Clare Haven, explains the additional funding was tied up in ensuring their services were maintained during the Covid crisis.
