The number of Irish residents who made a trip to Clare increased last year.

321 thousand Irish people travelled to the Banner County, leading to a total of just under 1.1 million bed nights here, according to new figures from the CSO.
Their average length of stay fell to 3.2 nights each, but this is still higher than the national average.
