The number of Mid-West residents signing on the live register increased last month.

120 extra people joined the dole queues in Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary, bringing the total numbers to over 35,500.
Despite this, the total numbers signing on here are over 1,800 less than this time last year. Full figures for Clare will be released tomorrow.
Nationally, there’s been a 2.6 per cent decrease in the numbers signing on the Live Register in May compared to the same time last year.
