A Clare Government TD is welcoming an increase in the number of projects granted funding in the county under the LEADER programme.
69 projects in Clare are to receive a portion of a 1.3 million euro Government investment, up from 50 at this stage last year, with grants awarded of between 4,000 and 141,000 euro, under the programme.
Two news projects have been granted funding through the Clare Local Development company – 40,000 euro will be provdied to Beds of Silk Limited in Labasheeda, while the West Clare Film Club will receive 6,800 for film equipment.
