The incoming Cathaoirleach of the Shannon Municipal District says the One Shannon Hub project is her top priority.
Shannon resident Councillor Donna McGettigan was elected to the position last evening, having previously served as Leas Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District.
The One Shannon Hub, which will be a multi-functional civic and community facility, is currently at the planning stage and is expected to be completed in 2027 on the Shannon Town Centre site which has been acquired by Clare County Council.

The Sinn Féin Councillor says the development of the facility will be her main focus while in the role of Cathaoirleach.
