A Clare village is hoping to draw on its rich history of festivals for an inaugaural event this summer.
Ruan Summer Fest takes place this August Bank Holiday Weekend from the 1st to the 2nd.

In addition to a number of family-friendly events, the festival will be headlined by Hermitage Green and Electrad.
Committee Chairperson Gavin McGibley says it’ll be something the community can be proud of.
