It’s hoped the first ever Climate Action Week held in Clare will bring a permanent positive change to individual habits.
Taking this place this week, the programme will feature a diverse range of events, workshops, and community initiatives designed to raise awareness and inspire lifestyle change.

These include beach cleans in Lahinch, energy cafés in Kilrush and Ennis, biodiversity workshops and the screening of the film ‘Birdsong’ about one man’s journey to record the bird call of every species in Ireland.
Clare County Council Climate Action Officer, Dara Dever says local efforts can make a big difference.
