Final preparations are being put in place ahead of Clare’s first ever plastic-free Christmas Fair this weekend.
The Inagh fair will see stalls selling only locally produced food and crafts and all of the items sold will be put in paper bags for people to take away.

There will also be face painting and free tea for pensioners; while just down the road in Ennis, the first-of-its-kind Abbey Street car park market will also be taking place all weekend.
The plastic-free fair is taking place in Inagh Community Hall from 11:45am on Sunday morning and local Green Party Councillor Róisín Garvey explains how the idea came about:
