Inagh Child Battling MIMH Syndrome To Be Attested As Honorary Garda

A Clare child is set to become the latest attested Garda recruit.

Two-year old Kody Meaney from Ennis is currently living with the extremely rare MMIH Syndrome, which is a lifelong condition affecting the bladder and gastrointestinal system.

During his care in Crumlin’s Children Hospital, Kody was invited to become a ‘Little Blue Hero’ and is set to graduate as an honorary Garda on Sunday at a ceremony in Ennistymon Garda Station.

Kody’s colleague Garda Niamh Keogh outlines their duties going forward.
