The counting of ballots in proposed industrial action at Ennis General Hospital will get underway today.

IMPACT is holding the vote to show their anger at the 258 thousand euro salary of a senior manager in the UL hospitals group.
The workers are members of the IMPACT trade union, and their ballot is to sanction a refusal to report to the manager in question.
It's anticipated that between 80 and 90 per cent of workers will give their support to the stoppage.
