IMO hopeful industrial action at UHL can be averted

The Irish Medical Organisation says it hopes industrial action at University Hospital Limerick can be averted.

Junior Doctors are due to down tools –  amid a dispute over payment for overtime already worked by the interns. 

The IMO says it remains open to negotiations – but that the action will go ahead if its members are not paid. 

Spokesperson Eric Young – says they feel they've been left with no choice
