It's claimed that a minority of Clare motorists are continuing to park illegally in spaces reserved for people with disabilities.
The claim has come following a discussion amongst Councillors, in which the local authority was urged to review a number of issues pertaining to parking.
As part of this, the Council has said it is extremely difficult for it to police private developments, such as in retailers' car parks, and Meelick Fianna Fáil Councillor Cathal Crowe feels that's disappointing, and that there is a real problem.
