As the tourist season begins to kick off in Clare concern is being raised about the level of illegal dumping.
Reports suggest some householders are using the county's roads to dispose of their rubbish on – in and around Ennis and other built up areas.

The Irish farmers Association is launching a new campaign encouraging land owners to spend time this april cleaning up after dumpers.
However the organisation says this is entirely unfair while Ennis area Fianna Fáil Cllr Claire Colleran Molloy says the issue means many visitors to the county are leaving with a very poor impression.
