The IFA has welcomed the announcement of a 50 million euro direct payment package for beef farmers.
The payment package will help to cover price losses incurred as a result of the collapse in the market due to COVID-19 and other factors, including Brexit.
Minister Creed has said the money will be going towards Beef Finishers and that the money will ‘percolate’ and benefit the rest of the beef farming community.
