IFA Urges People To Buy Higher Quality Produce

The Clare IFA Chairman is appealing to people to consider purchasing higher quality cuts of meat or dairy products as demand has dropped in recent times.

Tom Lane says that while supermarkets have seen an increase in demand for mince and other beef products, the closure of restaurants has meant that premium products such as steak aren’t being bought.

The drop in demand for these products has lead to a drop in the price of produce, and the Parteen farmer says it’s farmers who are losing out.
