The IFA is said to be in turmoil today following yesterday's shock resignation by its General Secretary.

Pat Smith said he was stepping down in the association's best interests – the move followed controversy over his refusal to reveal how much he'd been paid.
It was claimed his salary was around 400-thousand euro a year – over twice that of Enda Kenny.
The IFA's executive council will hold an emergency meeting later to discuss the issue.
Margaret Donnelly, Editor with Agriland.ie, says the salaries of senior IFA figures should be made known.
