IFA And RSA Urge Extra Caution On Roads

The president of the Irish Farmers’ Association is urging farmers to take extra care on the roads as well as the farmyard as the silage season commences.

It’s part of a joint appeal with the Road Safety Authority for farmers and pedestrians to be extra vigilant on the roads, as even though traffic volumes are down, there may be unexpected pedestrians exercising within 5km of their homes.

Tim Cullinan is also asking people to be extra cautious on the farmyard with all children being home from school.
