The IDA is optimistic that employment at Uber's new Limerick base will grow beyond its promise of 300 jobs.

The taxi and ride-sharing company is exablishing its first centre of excellence outside of the US here in the MidWest, and is promising to hire 150 staff by the end of the year.
Their investment is supported by the IDA, who say it's a big boost for the MidWest region.
