The IDA says it intends to resume in-person site visits to county Clare this year.
It comes as figures released to Scariff-based Independent Deputy Michael McNamara show 20 physical and virtual visits took place in this county in 2021, which is around 30 percent below pre-pandemic levels.

Such visits are a key step as part of a company’s decision-making process on deciding to invest in a given area.
64 in person stops were made by IDA personnel in the last three years in Clare, compared to 120 in Limerick and 98 in Galway.
